Pre-production or Fire

So you have this fantastic idea and you want to bring it to life. Where do you start? Like all concepts you need a plan. Figure out all the obstacles and equipment you’ll need defeat those obstacles. Pre-production is the essential ingredients to all good film projects. Whether small or big, you could never have enough pre-pro. I always start with a plan, but never turns out to be the master plan. Involving the pros early on is the most beneficial and most rewarding strategy. Others have always provided a easier approach to my insane ideas and methods. This month we had some fun creating some special effects with steel wool. We are planning to blend something special for an intro with what we’ve learned. We’ve also been planning our next set of commercials before the new year which should be comedically interesting. Just remember that good planning leads to a fun and exciting adventure.
