For those of you who haven’t experienced Z’s storytelling time, some people would say it involves a lot of flaring appendages and Michael Winslow sound effects; and thats what happened at our meeting with Machinima. Machinima has the largest video game based channel on youtube, generating 6 billion views a month. It was really hard not to get excited when telling executives about your plans to send Isaac Clarke crashing through a space window or Belmont vanquishing demons of the night with his holy whip. What I learned was that exposing your true self and your ambitions without refrain can get people to truly feel and see your vision. Needless to say, Machinima is now on board to partner with us to create some of these cinematic LAVGT’s. In the next few weeks you will see Dead Space: Chase to Death on Xbox Live and will be part of the Machinima Interactive Film Festival this coming November. Next year our new content will be distributed by our awesome supporters from Machinima. Stay passionate and driven amigos.

Our VFX Rambo Stunt Guy is back again and into test mode for our next LAVGT. Can you guess what video game franchise we are gearing up to bring to life? Thanks to our peeps at Batch Frame we have began our visual effect testing for some of the action sequences developed from the mind of Director Z. We still have a ways to go but this video should begin stirring some excitement for what is to come. This video, we wanted to see if we could quickly create and control the weapon. We learn a lot of do's and don't from the experiment. Our next VFX test will be vaporizing our villain into a mist of blood. That should be interesting. Leave your guesses on the comment section or on our Facebook page.

Well, we have done it. Thanks to our very talented amigo Rob Reider, we now have surround sound for DEAD SPACE: Chase to Death. I felt immersed with the stereo sound the first time, but now you feel the experience around you. The LAVGT has definitely become a creepier experience now that we have the necromorphs surrounding you. We will be releasing the surround sound edition to two film festival that have requested our video, EXCITING! One is the Melbourne Independent Filmmakers Festival and the other being MAGfest in DC. I’ve known Rob since I started my career in Florida making horror movies and want to send out a thanks to him for being a part of the Z Pictures’ live action video game creation. Always surround yourself with positive sounds and talent people. It will always give you a reason to dance.

Z Pictures’ recent visit to Comic Con San Diego went into a whole new level. We were able to get a spot among entertainment giants and place ourselves and our LAVGT DEAD SPACE on display for everyone to see. We were also invited to a live interview with FUNimantion and that was great exposure for us. You can view some of the stills on our Facebook page. We met up with some brand managers from Konami and Namco Bandai for some of their future IPs. Our producer was able to make some excellent connection with some movie moguls. We are proud to have Matt representing Z Pictures. We also are looking into possibly locking down a web series with Avatar Press, who are know for comic books such as Crossed and Stitched. We plan on continuing our pursuit in bringing our favorite stories to life. The horizon of space has infinite possibilities and we intend to harvest them.
